Transforming Conflict into Creative Solutions

When we don’t understand where someone else is coming from - the motivation behind their words - we may respond defensively.   However, to understand others, we first need to understand ourselves, recognizing that others are not like us and allowing us to first depersonalize our differences and second, leverage differences for greater success.

This workshop will provide a broad, practical and relevant introduction to motivational theory with a road map to minimize reactive responses through a deeper understanding of self and others.   In an interactive environment, you will practice and learn how to shift your language to move from resistance to resolution.  Outcomes include:

1)      Identify the motivational pattern that best represents your core needs, values and talents

2)      Understand what motivates you to do your best work – and how this differs from others.

3)      Understand how you most like to be encouraged and rewarded – and how this differs from others

4)      Understand how you most like to corrected or critiqued – and how this differs from others

5)      Apply knowledge to challenging situation with a roadmap to transform conflict to creative solutions
