The State of Community Nonprofits
Join Us for a Discussion with Legislators in Your Region!
The Alliance is excited to announce a series of regional events for state and local officials to hear from you and the people you serve - their constituents - to better understand how the state budget and related issues affect people who rely on community services.
Our members are extraordinary people who work tirelessly to ensure the delivery of high quality essential services that save lives and keep our communities great places to live and raise a family. Your legislators and local officials must hear from you to understand how important the state budget is to the community that relies on your services. We will also invite local media to cover the event to generate more coverage of the impact of state budget cuts on services in the community.
Please plan to attend at least one of these events and invite your staff, Board members, family members, volunteers and consumers and clients to join you. If you would like to speak, please let us know. Finally, please spread the word to other organizations in your network. Thank you.
