In today’s workplace, administrative assistants play an essential role as strategic organizational partners with the managers they support. To be fully effective in this strategic role, an administrative assistant must be able to present him/herself confidently, communicate assertively, anticipate and respond pro-actively to their managers’ priority needs, and balance multiple demands on their time and changes in organizational direction. This two-part training session will help improve strategic effectiveness, increase relationship building capabilities and help develop a strategy for dealing with conflicting workplace pressures and organizational changes. This workshop will also provide opportunities for peer support, skill coaching and practice, and a positive environment for professional self-development to reinforce success in the strategic partner role.
